About Me

Clive Mason

My Background

I am a BACP registered (registration No 129940), experienced Integrative counsellor and use the Person Centred Approach as my core model of work. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and am committed to Continuing Professional Development. I receive ongoing professional supervision, during which I discuss how I am working and how I can best support you.

What is Counselling

Counselling can help you to find a way forward with personal issues such as depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. It can also help to overcome problems that are causing you emotional turmoil such as relationship issues and loss. In truth you can talk about anything that is on your mind.

Who I work with

I offer an adult counselling service to individuals and couples in West Dunbartonshire. Primarily I offer a home visit service covering the area from Garelochhead in the North to Clydebank in the South. If a home visit isn't suitable for you then I can see you at either the Purple Turtle Holistics 380 Main Street, Bonhill G83 9HT or at The Beech Tree Clinic 107 East Princes Street, Helensburgh, G84 7DN

How I work with you

To develop and deepen my work with you, I strive to offer empathy, respect and a non-judgmental relationship, which increases my understanding of how you experience yourself and your life. In turn I find that this leads to you understanding yourself better and feeling more at home in your life.

Armed Forces

I strongly believe in supporting our Armed Forces and have a great deal of experience of working with both Serving Members and Veterans along with their families. I really do have a thorough understanding of the complexities and struggles associated with this lifestyle.

Next Steps
