About Me

Clive Mason

My Background

I am an experienced Integrative counsellor and use the Person Centred Approach as my core model of work. I work within recognised Ethical Frameworks and am committed to Continuing Professional Development. I receive ongoing professional supervision, during which I discuss how I am working and how I can best support you.

What is Counselling

Counselling can help you to find a way forward with personal issues such as depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. It can also help to overcome problems that are causing you emotional turmoil such as relationship issues and loss. In truth you can talk about anything that is on your mind.

How I work with you

To develop and deepen my work with you, I strive to offer empathy, respect and a non-judgmental relationship, which increases my understanding of how you experience yourself and your life. In turn I find that this leads to you understanding yourself better and feeling more at home in your life.

Armed Forces

I strongly believe in supporting our Armed Forces and have a great deal of experience of working with both Serving Members and Veterans along with their families. I really do have a thorough understanding of the complexities and struggles associated with this lifestyle.
